This region is home to a number of large, beautiful farms. Fortunately, some fo these have decided to share their premises with the rest of us by providing function rooms in romantic, rural surroundings.

Skibladner

The most scenic view of Lake Mjøsa is available on the paddle steamer Skibladner on a beautiful summer's day. Six days a week at 09:30 hrs, the sound of the ship's bell and steam whistle sound notice that the boat is embarking on its journey from Gjøvik pier.

Valdresbanen is the management company operating the museum train between Eina and Dokka.
