Bicycling in Gjøvik
An extensive network of country roads with almost no traffic provides variation, closeness to nature and safe cycling for young and old. Among popular destinations for bicyclists are picturesque ponds, impressive medieval churches and charming local art galleries and other cultural institutions. Several sites offer magnificent views of Lake Mjøsa and the many villages nestled along its shore. Most of the attractions are found within comfortable bicycling distance from Gjøvik.
