The most scenic view of Lake Mjøsa is available on the paddle steamer Skibladner on a beautiful summer's day. Six days a week at 09:30 hrs, the sound of the ship's bell and steam whistle sound notice that the boat is embarking on its journey from Gjøvik pier.
Skibladner's restaurant offers a very unique atmosphere in a historical setting. The menu on a board spans from a delicious breakfast and light lunch dishes to an exclusive dinner. Most visitors do not leave the boat without having first enjoyed our famous salmon dinner with strawberries for dessert.
